Dr. Abby Hansen graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2020, and was a classmate of Dr. Katherine Pjevach. She has always been a proud Minnesotan native and has worked at multiple small animal practices in the Twin Cities. Dr. Abby joined Southdale Pet Hospital in October of 2026.
Dr. Abby enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and the variety that comes with general practice. She enjoys getting to know her patients and clients, and developing individualized plans for each. She has a strong interest in internal medicine, dentistry, and palliative care. In her free time, Dr. Hansen enjoys cooking and baking, hiking, and visiting museums. She has one perfectly spoiled cat, Emmilou, who runs her house.
