Dr. Maijer attended undergrad at Drake University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science. After, she attended Roehampton University in London, where she earned a Master of Science in evolutionary anthropology, and a Master of Research in behavioral physiology. She then took a break from school to work at the Harnas wildlife rehabilitation center in Namibia, Africa. Finally, she attended veterinary school at Ross University, finishing her clinical year at Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. Having grown up in Edina and having brought family pets to Southdale Pet Hospital, she is excited that things have come full circle and she gets to give back to the Edina community.
